I'm a little late to the party on this song, and I liked the original, but it was a little too subdued to really rock a dance floor. I approached it with a pop-funk angle, with some New Jack Swing rhythms and think it came out decent. The song is bumped up to 115 bpm from the original 105 and has a more continuous groove for dancing instead of just being a head-bopper. Play the remix below.

One of the better, and less controversial tracks from "The Life Of A Showgirl," Opalite is a mid-tempo song with a strong hook and some great imagery.
