Easy WAV Converter

Quickly and easily create WAV files out of other media files on Windows and Mac.

Generating quality WAV files can be a bit of a dark art. Different encoders, frequencies, if you don't understand what all the settings do (first of all, you should try to learn!) things can get confusing. Easy WAV Converter is designed to take the guess-work out and just be simple to use. No fancy bells-and-whistles here, just the basics. Want to create MP3 files instead? Check out Easy MP3 Creator.

Drag in a file, a group of files, or even a whole folder with subfolders, and it'll get to work, converting them to 16-bit WAV files. By default, it will use the settings most common for high-quality audio recordings in the broadcast industry, and save WAV files alongside the original source file.

You'll be able to see the progress of your conversion clearly and have the chance to cancel conversion using the button on the bottom status bar. Once conversion is complete, you can drag more files in or simply close the program. If there were any problems converting, you'll see which files are affected.

For those that want to dig into the settings a bit more, simply click the "Settings" button in the bottom status bar. You'll be able to set a custom output folder if you don't want your files saved alongside the source. You can also change frequency and stereo options if you so choose.

All-in-all, I designed this to be the easiest-to-use WAV encoder out there. I hope you find it useful! Until you register the software, it will run in Demo Mode, which always shows the About screen on startup, and only converts one file at a time. Registering the software will remove these restrictions.
